Discover the Sons of the American Legion - Squadron 72
Founded in 1932, the Sons of The American Legion (SAL) is a proud extension of The American Legion, united by a shared commitment to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans. Membership is open to boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. Armed Forces and are eligible for membership in The American Legion.
Squadron 72 carries this legacy forward with distinction, having received its Official Charter in March of 2009. Since that moment, Squadron 72 has embodied the SAL mission—supporting veterans, strengthening communities, and fostering patriotism across generations.
Together with The American Legion and The American Legion Auxiliary, we form the Legion Family: a powerful, service‑driven community dedicated to preserving American traditions, supporting veterans and their families, enriching the lives of children and youth, and promoting responsible citizenship and civic pride.
